The WTO Ministerial Conference, held biennially, brings together Ministers responsible for trade from WTO Member States to deliberate on key issues and rules affecting the global trading system.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Conference will focus mainly on the reform of the WTO, with Members seeking to ensure that the Organization evolves in response to changing global economic dynamics and rapid technological advancements. Discussions will also cover a range of priority areas, including agricultural reform, development and Least Developed Country (LDC) graduation, investment facilitation for development, and electronic commerce.<\/p>\n<p>Hon. Chipoka Mulenga, M.P., Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry will be represented by Mrs. Lillian Bwalya, Permanent Secretary for Trade at the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry.
