Hon. Haimbe also urged staff to appreciate government efforts in mitigating the current crisis occasioned by the drought that has negatively impacted the country and the region.

He said the drought has had a huge impact on the livelihoods of Zambians and that the country is working hard to mitigate future risks of climate impact in the energy sector, in particular.

Hon. Haimbe said private sector investment in green energy is welcome.

The Minister later inspected the Chancery, on a guided tour by the High Commissioner of Zambia to the United Kingdom Her Excellency Ms. Macenje Mazoka and team.
