It gives me great pleasure, to welcome you to the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Brussels. This website is intended to serve as a continuous source of information on Zambia as a country of unfolding and unlimited opportunities for business, investment, tourism and for those interested in Zambia in general.

Zambia is a Democratic, Peaceful and Stable Country and a home to world renowned tourism destinations including the Victoria Falls, the Mighty Zambezi River, 20 National Parks and 34 game management areas. The South Luangwa, Kafue and Lower Zambezi rank among the finest national parks in the world.

Indeed Zambia is blessed with abundant natural resources and very attractive lakes and rivers. Apart from wealth in wildlife, land, agriculture and forestry, Zambia is also very rich in minerals such as Emeralds, Gold, Cobalt, Copper, Uranium, Nickel, Coal and now Sugelite. 

The relations between Zambia and Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg-(BENELUX countries) are traditionally friendly, and have a long common history. Together with my colleagues at the Embassy, our main agenda is to strengthen further the existing relationship as well as to promote the Zambia-BENELUX comprehensive and cooperative partnership to grow stronger and faster through existing mechanisms.

The Embassy remains fully committed to foster comprehensive cooperative partnerships featuring mutual benefits and win-win outcomes, that will further strengthen the Zambia -BENELUX relationship.

Apart from the relations Zambia has with the BENELUX, there are many Zambians living in these countries whose interests are at the heart of our Mission as emphasised by the President of the Republic of Zambia His Excellency Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, that the Diaspora, is Zambia’s eleventh Province.

We hope to work closely with all the Zambians in the BENELUX to foster Zambia’s economic development agenda.
