Dear Colleagues, I would like to welcome you to the website of the High Commission of the Republic of Zambia in Botswana. The purpose of this website is to disseminate information about the activities, programs, and facilities the High Commission offers ranging from consular affairs, tourism, and trade and investment promotions between Zambia and Botswana, among others. Zambia and Botswana have enjoyed warm and cordial relations from 1966 characterised by high-level exchange visits and shared experiences in various areas of cooperation.  This Mission was established in 1971 and was officially opened by His Excellency Sir Seretse Khama, First President of the Republic of Botswana, and is extra-accredited to the Southern African Development Community (SADC).  In line with the policy direction provided by His Excellency President of the Republic of Zambia Mr. Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND Government, the Mission is deepening Economic Diplomacy as the focus of enhancing relations for the mutual benefit of the two countries.  It is my hope that you will find this website helpful. We would be grateful for your feedback to help us improve the website & better the services offered by the Mission.
