The Zambia High Commission in Pretoria and Wits Business School (WBS) have identified trade, investment, policy research and executive education among key areas for future collaboration aimed at strengthening economic relations between Zambia and South Africa.
During the engagement, the Zambian High Commissioner to South Africa, Her Excellency Ms. Grace Mutembo, paid a courtesy call on Professor Mills Soko, Professor of International Business and Strategy at Wits Business School, and senior faculty members to discuss opportunities for institutional cooperation.
The discussions focused on collaboration in applied policy research, academic exchanges, leadership development and executive education, with particular attention to regional trade, infrastructure development, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and investment promotion.
Her Excellency Ms. Mutembo reaffirmed the High Commission’s commitment to building partnerships with academic institutions that generate practical solutions to support economic growth, regional integration and stronger bilateral relations between Zambia and South Africa.
