The major objective of the Mission is to articulate and implement Zambia’s foreign policy and to further bilateral relations with the Government and people of Namibia and facilitate economic cooperation in all fields including manufacturing, agriculture, mining, tourism, services ,trade and investment  and many others.

Zambia and Namibia have had a long cordial relationship for a long time and the two countries have continued to trade between themselves and cooperate in various sectors with a number of Memorandum of Understanding signed in order to promote economic diplomacy between the two friendly countries. Therefore, Zambia has enormous opportunities to  access markets in Namibia for various products manufactured in Zambia. .

Therefore, as Zambia aspires to become a Prosperous Middle- Income Country by 2030, there is need for all Zambians including those in diaspora to put hands and efforts together in order to realise this vision and implement the Vision 2030 and the 8^th National Development Plan. I urge Zambians in diaspora  to familiarise themselves with the Zambia’s National Diaspora Policy.
