Visa Application

  • The embassy of Zambia in Brasilia may provide a range of consular services such as visa and passport processing as well as document legalization. Please contact the office directly for information about which consular services they offer.
  • 1) 2 recent photos 5×7 or 3×4

 

  • 2) Passport.

 

  • THE PASSPORT MUST BE WITHIN ITS PERIOD OF VALIDITY, SIX (06) MONTHS PRIOR TO EXPIRATION.

 

  • 3) Copies of the passport (02 copies of the page that contains the number, 2 copies of the pages that contain the photo and personal information)

 

  • NOTE: Do not cut the Xerox, it must come in full sheet and the Xerox must be clear. 

 

  • 4) Fee of US$ 50 (fifty dollars) for a single entry visa and a fee of US$ 80.00 (eighty dollars) for multiple entries (for the same person) within 3 months, which must be paid only in dollars. 

 

  • 5) Responsible agency must issue a letter confirming the itinerary of the trip, AND copy of the ticket

 

  • 6) Form attached duly completed in (02) two copies for each applicant and signed by hand on the last sheet where it requires the signature of the same.    

 

  • 7) In case of work visa, it is necessary to be attached to the application documentation an invitation letter from the company or organization that requested the traveler’s services. 

 

  • The application and other documents must be delivered, at the Zambian Embassy in Brasilia, personally or through an agent. There is also the possibility of applying the visa upon the arrival in the country.

  • Requirements for Renewal of passports.

    1. Photocopy of passport
    2. Photocopy of NRC
    3. Passport size photos
    4. Residence valid permit
    5. Completed passport form which can be obtained from the embassy.

     

    Children Below 16

    1. Passport size photos
    2. NRC copy of parents
    3. Copy of birth certificate
    4. Copy of passport
    5. Completed passport form can be obtained from the embassy

Completing Application forms:

It is vital for all visa applicants to answer all questions on the visa application form and provide the necessary documentation.

Note: The mission is not obligated to inform the applicant if any of the requirements are not met. However, incomplete application packages will be placed in the pending box or returned to the applicant.

Before sending your application:

  • Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in Zambia.
  • The passport must have a minimum of 2 blank pages.

Application forms must be completed in full and submitted along with the following:

  • Original passport
  • Photocopy of passport page containing personal details;
  • Two recent passport size photographs;
  • Return Air ticket or Confirmed ticket booking or itinerary.:
