Process
The Consulate issues one-way Travel Documents of Identity to Zambians who may have lost their Passports to enable them travel back home.
Process
The Consulate provides further guidance on visa policies in addition to requirements listed by Emirates Airlines and travel agencies.
Current requirements for a Tourist Visa are:
As guided by the Immigration Department of the Republic of Zambia, the Consulate provides information to foreign nationals intending to travel to Zambia.
Foreign nationals can apply for the Zambian visa online at e-Services
The Consulate facilitates the repatriation of Human remains back to Zambia by providing technical support.
List of Documents required by law for repatriation of remains to Zambia:
A very important function of the Consulate is to ensure that all Zambians within the United Arab Emirates are registered. This is done in order to contribute up to date information about the diaspora to reflect correctly in national policy statistics and programmes, and also promote good citizen welfare.
Clients travelling on business, church business, Government travel Diplomatic and Official, Seminar, Volunteer and Study-related trips should submit their applications with an official covering letter specifying in brief detail the nature of their intended transactions in Zambia from their sponsor or prospective employers. Attach a copy of flight itinerary and/or return airline ticket.
Clients travelling on Tourist Visas need to attach copies of their flight itinerary or a copy of ticket. If available, include a copy of Tour Itinerary/Package.
Clients travelling on Visitors Visas should include a Letter of Invitation and immigration status of their host in Zambia, copy of National registration Card/ passport or an Immigration Permit if the host is non-Zambian and a copy of the flight itinerary or ticket. The Invitation letter should include the following:
Children under the age of sixteen do not need visas to enter Zambia except for British nationals and Congolese nationals.

Visa Applications can be made by post or by appointment at the mission.
Applicants who wish to have their passports mailed to them after processing should include a pre-paid self-addressed special delivery or recorded envelope.

Cash, personal, company, or foreign cheques are not accepted.
It is vital for all visa applicants to answer all questions on the visa application form and provide the necessary documentation.
Note: The mission is not obligated to inform the applicant if any of the requirements are not met. However, incomplete application packages will be placed in the pending box or returned to the applicant.
