







Zambia under 17 shine in Dubai as consulate rallies team for world cup glory
THE Zambia Under-17 National Football Team is reaping big benefits from their World Cup preparations in Dubai, showing impressive form and gaining valuable international exposure.

Their strong performance has not only boosted confidence ahead of the global tournament but also caught the attention of the Zambian Consulate in the United Arab Emirates.
During a morale-boosting visit, the Consulate urged the young Chipolopolo to keep playing with pride and determination as they continue to put Zambia on the map.
The under 17 chipolopol national team have been turning heads in Dubai with two wins and a draw in their friendly matches a promising indication that they are well prepared for the world cup.
Football Association of Zambia president Keith Mweemba says the boys are gaining priceless experience that will give them an edge at the tournament.
“The exposure the players are getting here is massive, they are learning to adapt to different playing styles and conditions, and their confidence is growing with every game,” said Mweemba
Mweemba expressed gratitude to the Zambian Consulate in Dubai for their warm hospitality and encouragement.
“We are grateful to the Consulate staff for welcoming us and making us feel at home, their support means a lot to the team and has boosted the boys’ morale ahead of the World Cup.”
During the visit, First Secretary for Politics Felix Miti, speaking on behalf of the Consul General, reminded the young players that football is not just about winning games but also about representing Zambia with pride.
Miti emphasized to the boys that when they step onto the pitch the ought to remember that they are ambassadors of Zambia and must Wear the badge with pride , play with passion and show the world what Zambian talent can do.
The Consulate has pledged full support for the team during their stay in Dubai, emphasizing that their impressive performance already serves as a source of national pride.
